Padding on container elements seems to confuse available space

Description
Apparently, a padding on container elements confuses the calculations.
Having:
<div id="container" style="height: 500px; padding: 0px">
<div id="div1"></div>
<div id="div2"></div>
<div id="div3"></div>
</div>
$('body, div').flex('body', 1);
$(document).flexify();works ok. But if "#container" is assigned any padding (try 50px), the padding ends up incorrectly on the bottom (something like 150px).
