We've been looking to provide a higher-quality, spam-free experience at the plugins site for some time, and a major error on our part forced us to shut down the current site before we could put the new one in place. shift-click with createCheckboxRange only semi works.
to reproduce one odd effect...
1. check the top checkbox
2. shift-click a box in the middle of the list
3. shift-click the next box
4. the checked boxes will extend past the box you last checked

patch attached.
problem was with chaining selectors :lt():gt()
:lt() returns a new array, so :gt() acts on the new array, not the old one
