Sadly I don't own iPhone yet nor I am a iPhone developer. Yet. As far I can see now (and correct me otherwise) there is Safari for viewing the web and it should theoretically work. But it isn't obviously, right? ;)
iPhone is definitely on my wish list so maybe someday...

What might be meant [what I would also love to see] is if you visit http://apple.com/ipad/gallery/ and click on the 360 view on an iphone you can rotate the image using your finger which unfortunately you cant [currently ;-)] with this plugin.

Damn, seems like I will really have to somehow get my hands on an iPhone to see how it behaves and why it does not behave the way users like you expect. So far, all iPhone emulators I ran prooved useless for testing.
Guess I will put the iPhone on my Christmas wishlist ;)
