Currently there is "number" and "digits" validation methods. However, none of these can limit the input to all integers (positive and negative). "digits" only match positive integers. To support negative integers, I suggest adding
integer: function(value, element) {
return this.optional(element) || /^-?\d+$/.test(value);
},If there is a work-around making using a max/min/range, please make that clear(er) in the documentation. At least I didn't see how I could match all integers.

PS! Please update the bug reporting link at the bottom of http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-validation/ since the main JQUery bug tracker doesn't accept plugin bugs anymore.
